Lillian Brawdy, The Author

Hello friends, family, and newcomers. My name is Lillian. I am 9 years old and in the 3rd grade. My book is about overcoming bullying and showing a positive way of dealing with them. I hope readers of all ages will enjoy my book and find a warm place in your heart and home. Writing this book was so exciting and scary. It's my first book.

I want to thank everyone who helped bring my ideas to life. To Mrs. Claudie for introducing her publishing company Nurture Bear's Young Author's Program to me and little sister Violet. To my auntie Deborah who came over to develop this magical world with me and got me excited for each chapter. My dad is a cool dude yelling out from his video game time to give me villain names for the book.

To my mom for helping me with the cool steampunk western look for the characters, she enjoyed this journey also. Most of all, the illustrator who took my drawings and gave them a full blast of life. I look forward to writing more in the future.

As a parent of two, it's important that my kids are heard and they can express themselves freely. I believe that Nurture Bear's Program can do that and get my kids to love reading and exploring their confidence and wild creativity. Lillian is so energetic and loves meeting new friends and makes them just as fast. Lillian became more confident in her story making and how she gave the bullies self growth in the end.
